Hidden Talents, Hobbies,

and How We Spend Our Summer

While our staff members employ their diverse skills to serve our clients, we also enjoy a host of other activities to fill our down time. Here are some of the hidden talents and hobbies of your Ambassador team!

BAKING AND DECORATING

ESSENTIAL OILS Amy J. Malay, Director of Team Development

CAKES Esther Singh, Client Service Coordinator

I love watching people’s reactions when they see one of my cakes for the first time. I enjoy playing with colors and design. Tey say people “eat with their eyes first,” so I try to give them that wow factor with popping colors and a variety of floral designs.

A gift of God’s creation, essential oils are distilled from plants, herbs, roots, trees, and resins. Tey are considered the “life blood” of plants. God created plants (and everything else in His creation) for our benefit. Just as essential oils provide support for the plant’s immune system, they also support OUR bodies, providing a natural option for physical and emotional wellness. I am an avid learner, and I love sharing what I’ve learned with others—especially when it’s something that has impacted many lives for the better.

RESTORING

FURNITURE Nicole L. Kratz, Client Service Coordinator

I enjoy repurposing furniture to help save some trees for our environment. I recently restored a solid oak chest of drawers for my 10-year-old son and a night stand for my niece. It’s such a joy to take something old and outdated and make it beautiful again. Despite its age, quality-made furniture just needs some creativity to bring it back to life.

SKIING Beverly E. Brown, Application & Licensing Coordinator

I’ve been skiing for 46 years and have many good memories. While most people pray that it doesn’t snow, I pray for snow! Tey usually get 500 inches of snow out west each year. Tis photo is at Brighton Ski Resort—Utah got 48 inches of snow before I got there. What a great year!
