“Imagine what would happen if Gilligan and the Energizer Bunny had

a child, then add a touch of God’s grace and you have Gordon Douglas.”

Comedian Gordon Douglas has been introduced with that hilarious line countless times since he started his comedy career in Philadelphia in the 1970’s. Gordon has appeared on numerous television and radio programs, performing in 38 states and four countries. Trough Operation Bellylaughs, he sends comedy recordings to the men and women serving in the military.

Gordon’s talent is mixing real life stories with “off the wall” physical comedy and his own hilarious view of life. Audiences

Gordon’s goal is to share his faith in all he does. His new book, Growth Spurts & Growin' Pains, is a comedy biography about the things he did right and wrong that helped him grow. “Te book has 39 life lessons: things I wish I knew when I was a kid, plus things I want my kids and my grandkids to know about life, work, love, money, and God.”

Gordon’s mission is to use comedy to encourage weary saints, equip the church, and evangelize the lost. Over 100 times each year, Gordon speaks to people in prisons, churches, conferences, company dinners, and camp grounds. As one pastor put it, “Tere are a lot of great preachers out there and some very funny comedians, but nobody combines fun and faith like Gordon Douglas.”

HOW GORDON DOUGLAS USES HIS TALENT FOR THE LORD

relate to his side-splitting stories from his life as a preacher, like dropping the sermon notes into the grave at his first funeral. With genuine humility, honesty, and passion, Gordon often weaves life lessons into his programs, including opportunities seen in his wife’s victorious battle with cancer and his father’s many years confined to a wheelchair.

Gordon’s connection to Ambassador Advisors began years ago when he met Bernie Bostwick at a pastor’s conference at America’s Keswick in New Jersey. “At the time,” Gordon shares, “my wife and I had some significant credit card debt and several kids in college—two kids at once for 13 years straight. I needed a plan to get out of debt so I could pursue my dream of having a full-time comedy ministry.”
