Cynthia is among the growing numbers of people struggling with a relational or sexual issue who turn to Day Seven for top- notch counseling and care. Day Seven clients know they’ll be treated like real people by dedicated, compassionate therapists in a warm, caring environment.

Leading people like Cynthia from brokenness to healing is why Day Seven exists. Tis Christian ministry provides opportunities for men and women to address personal issues in safety and confidentiality. Day Seven’s services help clients move into deeper, healthier relationships with God and others, as they face concerns about sexuality and other sensitive areas that touch at the core of one’s identity.

“We watch people and their relationships change every day,” says Bill Malay, Day Seven executive director. “For example, I know of a mother and daughter who hadn’t been speaking to each other, and three months later they were walking out

our years ago, Cynthia suffered a devastating relational situation that brought turmoil to her marriage. Her pain, rooted in a traumatic childhood, left her crippled by fear and unable to unearth her deeply

Day Seven offers three distinct services, with one involving one-to-one, on-site counseling at locations in Lancaster and the Harrisburg area. In addition, Day Seven’s clinically-trained counselors conduct conferences and workshops at local churches, giving training and support in addressing sexual issues and other relationship challenges. Also, recovery groups help clients connect with others facing similar issues, finding healing and wholeness in the realization that they’re not alone in their struggles.

“A place like Day Seven exists because, as the culture degenerates and moves away from family and marriage, somebody has to be a standard bearer to support healthy marriages and individuals,” says Bill, who emphasizes that Day Seven never turns away clients due to finances. He invites people to give to the ministry’s Voices of Hope Scholarship Fund, which helps those clients facing financial need.

Trough Day Seven Ministries, people like Cynthia emerge from sexual and relational brokenness and become the whole individuals God intended them to be.
