“Nate didn’t come to Clarks Summit to be a missionary,” said Dr. Lytle. “But during his time as a student, Nate developed a passion and a love for all of the relationships he was building in the city. In many ways, he’s a poster child for what we do.”


Relationships aren’t just critical for students. Te school itself has benefitted tremendously from all of its support and partnerships in the community.


“We have several internal financial goals,” Dr. Lytle said, in reference to the future of the school. And as with any lofty goal, it often cannot be accomplished alone. Two roofs on campus need to be replaced, including the roof of the 50-year-old student center and a beautiful 100-year-old terracotta roof. Te conservative estimated cost of such an endeavor is $1.5 million.


But relationships forged between Clarks Summit University and private companies are nothing short of a God-send.


“God has led us into an arrangement where we should be able to provide all the electricity our campus needs and also give it to others,” said Dr. Lytle. “Part of that deal is that a private company that sells solar panels will replace both of those roofs with solar capabilities.”


Tis partnership is just another example of the benefits of unity, as is Clarks Summit’s newfound relationship with Ambassador Advisors.
